Draw a card
The twenty-two major arcana, shuffled. Press DRAW for the card of the day – The Fool, The Tower, The Star – and it stays out of the deck until you shuffle, so a three-card draw never repeats itself.
Three cards
Set Cards per draw to three for the oldest spread there is: the first card for what is behind you, the second for where you are, the third for what you are walking into. Five is a fuller spread; Shuffle the deck starts over.
What the cards are
- The Fool – a beginning, with no idea what is coming.
- The Wheel of Fortune – things turning, with or without you.
- The Tower – what falls over so something else can be built.
- Death – an ending, which in a deck almost never means a literal one.
- The Star – hope after the tower.
The other seventeen are on the wheel of the draw, each with its own picture and its own long tradition of readings.
What this is, and what it is not
It is a shuffled deck and a random draw – the same card has the same chance every time, and the page knows nothing about you. What people find useful about a daily card is not prediction: it is being handed one idea to think about, at random, instead of the one you would have chosen. Take it as a prompt for a journal or a quiet five minutes, not as a forecast, and never in place of advice from somebody qualified to give it.
Your draws
Past winners keeps the cards you have drawn, newest first. Written down beside the day, they make a better journal than any single reading.
