Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

Who we are

  • ChoosyWheel.com is a web portal (also referred to as a website, service or page) providing the user with the ability to create wheels that, when spun, randomly return one item pre-loaded into the wheel.
  • The service is intended for entertainment purposes only. Users acknowledge that the results generated by the wheel are completely random, but not cryptographically so. Therefore, they cannot be considered secure or reliable for any decision making that requires a high level of security, legal validity or financial responsibility. The wheel should not be used to determine critical outcomes such as legal decisions, financial transactions, security measures, or any situation where an incorrect result may cause harm or loss.
  • The Service is offered in the good faith belief that users will not use the Wheel other than for entertainment purposes.
  • All entries and other settings happen on the user’s side of the browser. We do not store this information in any way.
  • The site is consistently designed with respect for the privacy of visitors and users, so you can browse it completely anonymously without having to register or log in.

Cookies

  • The website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that the service (like most other portals) stores on individual computers using a web browser. Through the use of cookies, the server recognizes the user the next time they visit. Cookies take up almost no space on the computer’s disk and are usually a few kilobytes in size.
  • The analysis of cookies is not used to obtain any sensitive personal data and the cookies obtained are not used for marketing purposes.
  • Cookies are not needed to use the service and you can therefore disable them without any limitation of functionality.

Third party cookies

  • Posts on this site may contain embedded content (typically videos embedded from YouTube or shared posts from social networks).
  • Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited this website.
  • These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking from third parties, and track your interaction with this embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
  • You can block or delete cookies, which will remove any consent and settings obtained from the site.
  • You can opt out of Google’s personalised advertising by using the ad settings.

Images used on the site

  • Images used on the site are usually licensed for free use, but may be licensed images from photo banks without the need to credit the author. If you take images from this site, you may be infringing the copyright of the licensor of those images.

Comments and contact form

  • When visitors post comments on this site, the information displayed in the comment form is collected, as well as the visitor’s IP address and the user agent string defining the browser, which helps to detect spam.
  • If you send us a message, we keep your email address for the sole purpose of responding to you. We never use the contacts we receive through the form for marketing or any other type of promotion.

Web analytics

  • The site uses the analytics tool Burst Statistics.
  • We use analytics to record the individual pages you visit on the site, but the data itself is aggregated and we do not collect any data about individual visitors. Aggregate statistics help us improve our services and collect demographic data for aggregate use.
  • Analytics does not use cookies.

Who we share data with

  • We do not sell, trade or rent information collected from our customers to third parties. Only if we sell this site may we transfer this information to another entity in order to continue the functionality of the site seamlessly for users.
  • We may also disclose information when required to do so by law or when necessary to achieve the functionality of the services we provide to you.
  • All content on the site is provided without warranty and the operator accepts no liability for any damage caused by the use of the site, errors, typos, poor translation, outages or any of the linked pages.
  • The content of the website is protected by copyright in its entirety. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the content may not be taken over, copied, reproduced or redistributed through other channels, except by printing for personal use, by quotation with acknowledgement of the source, or by sharing on social networks.
