What is International Cat Day?
International Cat Day was started in 2002 by an animal welfare group, and is now a favorite day of cat lovers everywhere.

How the countdown works
The clock counts down to the 8th of August on your own device’s time, so it reaches zero at midnight where you are. When the day is over, it starts again for next year. Full screen puts it on a classroom board or a big screen. To count down to something of your own, enter it under Your own event.
