What is International Dog Day?
International Dog Day is an unofficial day for dogs of every kind, and for finding homes for those without one.
Ways to mark the day
- Take your dog on a longer walk.
- Help at a dog shelter, or take a dog for a walk there.
- Spin the Random Dog Breed Generator.
How the countdown works
The clock counts down to the 26th of August on your own device’s time, so it reaches zero at midnight where you are. When the day is over, it starts again for next year. Full screen puts it on a classroom board or a big screen. To count down to something of your own, enter it under Your own event.
