What is International Day of Yoga?
The International Day of Yoga is a United Nations day, first held in 2015, for a practice that began in India.
Ways to mark the day
- Try a free class: many cities hold them outdoors.
- Stretch for ten minutes in the morning.
- Use the Interval Timer to hold each position for the same time.
How the countdown works
The clock counts down to the 21st of June on your own device’s time, so it reaches zero at midnight where you are. When the day is over, it starts again for next year. Full screen puts it on a classroom board or a big screen. To count down to something of your own, enter it under Your own event.
