How to play
- Pick the decks and press Play.
- Hold the phone sideways on your forehead, screen out. You cannot see the word – everybody else can.
- The others describe it, act it out or hum it, without saying the word itself.
- Guessed it? Tilt the phone down. Too hard? Tilt it up to pass.
- When the time runs out, see how many you got – and hand the phone on.
It is the party game many people know from the Heads Up! app, here in the browser, with nothing to install.
No tilting
On a phone that does not report tilting, or on a computer, tap Got it and Pass instead – or use the keys: the right arrow or the space bar for right, the left arrow to pass.
The decks
Six decks of sixteen words: animals, jobs, actions, things, food and sports. Add your own under Your own words – names of people the group knows work well.
Make it harder
- Only acting, no talking.
- Thirty seconds instead of sixty – change Seconds per round.
- Clues in one word only.
Nothing to install
It all runs in your browser, on this device: no app, no account, nothing sent anywhere. Your settings and the game in progress are still here after a reload.
