What is Three Kings’ Day?
Three Kings’ Day, or Epiphany, remembers the wise men who brought gifts to the infant Jesus. In Spain and much of Latin America it is the day when children get their presents.
Ways to mark the day
- Bake or buy a kings’ cake, with a small surprise hidden inside.
- Take the Christmas tree down: for many families this is the last day of the season.
- Watch a parade, where your town holds one.
How the countdown works
The clock counts down to the 6th of January on your own device’s time, so it reaches zero at midnight where you are. When the day is over, it starts again for next year. Full screen puts it on a classroom board or a big screen. To count down to something of your own, enter it under Your own event.
