What is All Saints’ Day?
All Saints’ Day is a Christian feast that honors all the saints. In many countries people visit the graves of their family around this day, and light candles there.
Ways to mark the day
- Visit family graves, and bring flowers or a candle.
- Share stories about relatives who are gone.
- Take a walk in a cemetery in the evening, when the candles are lit.
How the countdown works
The clock counts down to the 1st of November on your own device’s time, so it reaches zero at midnight where you are. When the day is over, it starts again for next year. Full screen puts it on a classroom board or a big screen. To count down to something of your own, enter it under Your own event.
