Pick a mood first
The genres are in five moods: Light and fun, Thrills, Dark, Other worlds and Real life. Not in the mood for horror tonight? Click Dark and it leaves the wheel:
Open a mood to untick single genres or add your own – a director, a decade, “something from the watchlist”:
Movie night with friends
- Everybody picks one genre to take off the wheel. Then spin what is left.
- Spin twice for a double feature: one light, one dark.
- A film club: spin once a week and watch the best-rated film of that genre you have not seen.
- Family night: keep only Light and fun and Other worlds on the wheel.
