Easier or harder
Quiz settings changes how many answers you get and where the wrong ones come from. Take the ones I got right off the wheel leaves only what you still have to learn:
Who it is for
- Club evenings: a question for whoever is waiting for a board.
- Juniors learning the names their coach uses.
- Before a tournament, as a warm-up for the memory.
- Players who know the moves and never learnt what they are called.
The wrong answers come from the same first move, so a 1. e4 question offers four 1. e4 openings – which is where the names actually get confused.
