Under the wheel the betting table lights up every bet the number wins: the number itself, red or black, even or odd, 1 to 18 or 19 to 36, its dozen and its column. The same result, in words, is written under the table:
What the table shows
- Red / Black – the colour of the pocket.
- Even / Odd – whether the number is even.
- 1 to 18 / 19 to 36 – the low or the high half.
- 1st 12, 2nd 12, 3rd 12 – the dozen the number is in.
- 2 to 1 – the column bet at the end of each row.
- On zero, only a bet on zero itself wins: every outside bet loses. That is the whole house edge.
