How to play Paranoia
- Sit in a circle. The first player spins the wheel – and only they and their neighbour look.
- The first player whispers the question to the player on their right.
- That player answers out loud, with the name of somebody in the room – and nothing else.
- Now everybody wants to know the question. Flip a coin: heads, the question is read out; tails, it stays a secret forever.
- The player who answered spins next.
That is where the name comes from: everybody hears their name, and nobody knows why.
Keep it fun
The questions on this wheel are friendly on purpose: Paranoia works because everybody wonders what was asked, not because the questions are mean. With a group of close friends, add your own questions – one per line – and agree beforehand what is off limits:
Flip the coin
No coin in your pocket? The Flip a Coin page on this site tosses one for you – heads, the question comes out.
