What is International Children’s Day?
International Children’s Day is celebrated on the 1st of June in many countries, with events and small gifts. The United Nations also has a Universal Children’s Day on the 20th of November.
Ways to mark the day
- Let the children choose what the family does that day.
- Have an outing: a picnic, a playground, a zoo.
- Play a game from your own childhood with them.
How the countdown works
The clock counts down to the 1st of June on your own device’s time, so it reaches zero at midnight where you are. When the day is over, it starts again for next year. Full screen puts it on a classroom board or a big screen. To count down to something of your own, enter it under Your own event.
