How it works
The wheel lands on an animal, and you choose what class it belongs to. Most are easy, and the tricky ones are exactly the ones worth remembering.
Your score and your run
Every right answer adds to the Score, and the run counts how many you got right in a row. Best run remembers your record on this device.
Pick the topics
The animals are grouped by where you would meet them: Pets and farm, Wild animals and In the water.
Easier or harder
Under Quiz settings choose how many Answers to choose from, and switch on Take the ones I got right off the wheel to work through the whole set until nothing is left.
How to tell them apart
- Mammals have hair or fur and feed their young on milk. Bats and whales are mammals.
- Birds have feathers and lay eggs. Penguins and ostriches are birds, though they cannot fly.
- Reptiles have dry skin with scales, such as snakes and turtles.
- Amphibians start life in water and have moist skin, such as frogs and newts.
- Fish live in water and breathe through gills. A seahorse is a fish.
- Insects have six legs and three body parts.
