Twelve animals on one wheel
The Chinese zodiac gives every year one of twelve animals, always in the same order: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. After the Pig the circle starts again with the Rat. Press SPIN! and the wheel lands on a sign:
Which animal are you?
Your sign is the animal of the year you were born in. The Chinese year does not begin on 1 January but with the Lunar New Year, somewhere between 21 January and 20 February – so if your birthday is in January or early February, check the date of the New Year in your birth year: you may belong to the animal before.

2026 is the Year of the Horse, which began on 17 February 2026. 2027 will be the Year of the Goat.
What to spin it for

- Lunar New Year parties and classroom lessons about the calendar.
- Drawing prompts – draw the animal the wheel picks.
- Picking a team name or a mascot.
- Simply for fun. The wheel is a game, not a horoscope.
