Which country does this flag belong to?
A spinning wheel full of flags – and not a single name on it. Press SPIN!, and when the wheel stops a window shows just the flag it landed on and a few countries to choose from. Pick one, press Check and find out whether you were right:

How to play
- Choose the continents you want on the wheel.
- Press SPIN! – or Ctrl + Enter.
- Look at the flag and pick a country. On a keyboard, the number keys pick an answer.
- Press Check (or Enter). A right answer turns green; a wrong one turns red and the right answer is shown in green.
- Press Spin again for the next flag.
Pick the continents
Each continent is a button. Click it to put its flags on the wheel or take them off – one continent to learn it properly, all of them for a challenge:
The segments keep the colour of their continent, so if you are playing several at once, the colour is a small hint.
Easier or harder
Under Quiz settings you choose how many Answers to choose from – two for younger children, eight for experts – and where the wrong answers come from. The same continent is harder, because neighbouring flags often look alike; Any country in the world is easier:
Your score
The Score shows how many you got right out of how many you were asked, how many are In a row right now, and your Best run. Start again sets it back to zero:
Clear the wheel flag by flag
Open Options and tick Take the ones I got right off the wheel. Every flag you name correctly disappears, the ones you missed stay – spin until the wheel is empty and you know them all:

Past winners lists every flag you were asked, with a tick for a right answer and a cross for a wrong one – handy for finding the ones to practise:
The names are always in your language
Country names come from an international database of names in every language, so the quiz is the same in every language version of the site. Your score, your settings and your history stay on this device; Save / load in the header moves them to another one:
