Your bingo caller
Press SPIN! and the wheel calls the next number. It is written under the wheel, taken off it so it can never come up twice, and marked on the board of Numbers drawn – so checking a card is a glance at the board:
75 or 90 balls
The wheel starts with 1 to 75, the American game. For the British 90-ball game, or for a tombola, set To to 90 – the wheel and the board follow at once:
How to call a game
- Hand out the cards.
- Press SPIN! and read the number out.
- Keep spinning. The board shows every number called, with the last one ringed.
- When somebody shouts bingo, check their card against the board.
- For a new game, press Back to the original items and every number is back on the wheel.
Where it is used
- Family bingo nights and parties.
- Classrooms: number recognition, or bingo with sums whose answers are on the cards.
- Care homes and clubs that have lost the ball machine.
- Raffles and tombolas where the tickets are numbered.
