Would you remember?
People who have done a first aid course forget most of it within a year, and the numbers go first: how many compressions, how deep, how long to cool a burn. Each spin asks one, with four answers. Press SPIN!:
Your score and your run
Score counts the right answers, In a row the ones since your last mistake, and Best run remembers your longest. Start again clears them:
One part at a time
Emergencies, injuries, and breathing and choking. All three are on the wheel from the start:
Easier or harder
Quiz settings changes how many answers you get and where the wrong ones come from. Take the ones I got right off the wheel leaves only what you still have to learn:
Who it is for
- Refreshing a course you did a year or two ago.
- Workplaces and schools, as a five-minute reminder at a meeting.
- Scouts, lifeguards, coaches – anybody who might be first on the scene.
- Before a first aid exam, to check the numbers are still there.
This quiz is for revision. It does not teach first aid and does not replace a course, where you practise on a manikin with somebody who can correct you. The answers follow current European first aid guidance; the emergency number is 112 across the EU, and other countries have their own – in an emergency, call yours.
