What is World Water Day?
World Water Day is a United Nations day that draws attention to the importance of fresh water, and to the many people who still live without safe water.
Ways to mark the day
- Check for dripping taps at home.
- Time your shower and see how much shorter it can be.
- Learn where your water comes from, and how it reaches you.
How the countdown works
The clock counts down to the 22nd of March on your own device’s time, so it reaches zero at midnight where you are. When the day is over, it starts again for next year. Full screen puts it on a classroom board or a big screen. To count down to something of your own, enter it under Your own event.
