What is World Theatre Day?
World Theatre Day was created by the International Theatre Institute, and is marked by theaters around the world, each year with a message from a theater artist.
Ways to mark the day
- Buy a ticket for a local show.
- Put on a short play with friends or children.
- Play charades: it is theater too.
How the countdown works
The clock counts down to the 27th of March on your own device’s time, so it reaches zero at midnight where you are. When the day is over, it starts again for next year. Full screen puts it on a classroom board or a big screen. To count down to something of your own, enter it under Your own event.
