What is International Jazz Day?
International Jazz Day is a UNESCO day that honors jazz and its part in bringing people together.
Ways to mark the day
- Go to a live concert, in a club if you can.
- Listen to a classic jazz album from start to finish.
- Play it for someone who thinks they do not like jazz.
How the countdown works
The clock counts down to the 30th of April on your own device’s time, so it reaches zero at midnight where you are. When the day is over, it starts again for next year. Full screen puts it on a classroom board or a big screen. To count down to something of your own, enter it under Your own event.
