What is International Day of Education?
The International Day of Education is a United Nations day about the part that education plays in peace and development.
Ways to mark the day
- Learn something new for an hour.
- Give away books your family has finished with.
- Tell a child about the teacher who helped you most.
How the countdown works
The clock counts down to the 24th of January on your own device’s time, so it reaches zero at midnight where you are. When the day is over, it starts again for next year. Full screen puts it on a classroom board or a big screen. To count down to something of your own, enter it under Your own event.
